Job Summary

Clinical Director for the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) at Redefining the Future Network, Inc. provides clinical leadership and oversight of all therapeutic programming, including individual, group, and family therapy, and oversees IOP programming. The role collaborates with PRP and Supported Employment leadership to coordinate care, ensures services comply with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, Maryland Department of Health, and payers), maintains minimum billable clinical hours (15 per week), supervises staff within licensure scopes, oversees clinical supervision for associate clinicians, develops policies and program curricula, ensures accurate documentation and risk assessments, leads competency evaluation and performance improvement activities, and supports licensure verification for clinical staff. The position participates in executive leadership and represents the agency with accrediting bodies and payers, with ongoing requirements including primary source verification, background checks, orientation, continuing education, and ensuring safe patient care delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related clinical behavioral health field from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Current, active, and unrestricted independent clinical licensure in the State of Maryland (e.g., LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT)
  • Minimum of five years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health, substance use, or trauma-focused treatment settings
  • Minimum of two years of clinical supervisory or program leadership experience, including supervision of associate licensed clinicians
  • Experience with Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) level of care preferred
  • Experience supporting accreditation readiness with The Joint Commission, CARF, or a comparable accrediting body preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical assessment, crisis intervention, risk screening, and supervision practices in line with Maryland Board and Joint Commission standards
  • Strong documentation practices and HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2 compliance
  • Cultural responsiveness and trauma-informed care principles
  • Performance improvement methods, data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
