Job Summary
Ombudsman Specialist- Legal Liaison responsible for researching and resolving BBB and Attorney General cases, preparing well-written, member-focused responses, and providing actionable feedback for process improvement. The role requires collaborating with senior leadership, boards, management, the Attorney General, and BBB offices; producing standard and ad hoc operational reports; and ensuring timely actions on escalations across multiple channels. The position is Hybrid, onsite Tuesday through Thursday in Washington, DC or Lakewood, CA, with start ASAP, and entails travel and alignment with AARP initiatives and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 3 years of relevant experience in a correspondence or contact center environment
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- ability to travel
