Job Summary
Shape complex strategic, financial, regulatory, and transformation challenges for leading financial institutions by breaking down problems, directing junior consultants, and crafting recommendations. Work alongside UK, European, and global partners to deliver deep industry expertise across balance sheet management, credit transformation, risk appetite, and advanced analytics. Collaborate directly with clients to drive lasting change in areas such as capital efficiency, smart pricing, and operational resilience. Based in London within a Europe-wide staffing pool, you will operate within a diverse, entrepreneurial partnership environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3-8 years of relevant experience, depending on level
- Fluent business English
- Undergraduate or advanced degree in STEM, finance, economics, business or another analytically rigorous discipline
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organisation
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to clients in the UK, Europe and internationally
- Track record of delivering results in a cross-functional, high-growth and fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our incredibly talented team
- All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: 3-8 years of relevant experience, depending on level, ideally from a top-tier strategy consulting firm, financial services consulting firm, bank, building society, fintech, regulator or similar organisation
- Experience in Banking & Financial Services, including one or more of banking, capital markets, insurance, payments, wealth management, fintech or financial market infrastructure
- Exposure to finance, treasury, capital, liquidity, risk, regulation, credit, operating model, transformation, cost, digital, data or analytics topics
- Hands-on experience with data, analytics, modelling or AI-enabled financial services transformation
- Additional European languages
- Curiosity, creativity and the initiative to seek out opportunities to learn new skills and apply them to clients' most important problems
