Job Summary
Benchmarking Researcher in Gurugram leads design and execution of benchmarking studies across performance, process, financial, and internal dimensions, consolidates and normalizes data from multiple sources, defines appropriate peer cohorts, and translates findings into ranked, actionable client-ready insights. The role involves working with senior researchers to develop reusable benchmarking models, conducting primary data collection via interviews and surveys, producing executive-level visuals in PowerPoint, and coaching junior analysts. A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required, with 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate benchmarking or data-intensive analytics, and strong skills in statistical reasoning, data normalization, and tooling such as Excel (plus Power BI/Tableau/R/Alteryx). Preferred qualifications include MBA (Finance), CFA Level I/II, or MSc in Economics/Finance; industry experience in financial services, consumer, industrials, healthcare, or technology; and ability to apply Generative AI to improve efficiency and quality of benchmarking deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Finance/ BBA/ B.Tech or equivalent quantitative discipline (mandatory)
- 3–7 years post-qualification experience in corporate benchmarking or data-intensive analytical assignments
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, R, and Alteryx preferred
- Experience leading benchmarking projects and producing client-ready outputs
- Preferred: MBA (Finance), CFA Level I/II, or MSc in Economics/Finance
- Ability to design and execute benchmarking studies across performance, process, and financial dimensions
- Strong data collection, validation, and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent communication and slide storytelling skills
- Experience applying Generative AI tools to enhance efficiency
