Job Summary
Manage individual project workstreams by planning, coordinating, and developing hypotheses while conducting primary and secondary research to surface insights. Synthesize findings into written presentations, review deliverables with clients and stakeholders, and lead client readouts. Support the Partner group in project delivery through accurate execution and mentor junior consultants on task allocation, output review, and skill development. This Associate/Engagement Manager role within Oliver Wyman's Insurance and Asset Management Practice requires 4-7 years of relevant experience, including a track record in strategic problem solving and leading teams against tight deadlines. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a willingness to travel. The position offers a base salary range of $190,000 to $260,000 CAD with performance-based incentives.
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of relevant experience
- Experience with insurance-related topics, such as organizational design, strategic planning, product design, distribution, underwriting, policy or claims administration, claims, risk and capital management, pensions, or reinsurance
- Track record of leading and managing teams, and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced, demanding environments
- Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
- Willingness to travel
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations
- CPT and OPT are restricted forms of work authorization
