Job Summary
Break down complex business problems into discrete workstreams and tasks, identifying critical drivers to guide junior consultants. Execute rigorous analyses ensuring quality, structure, and speed, then diagnose core issues to translate findings into practical recommendations. Work closely with clients and project teams to move work forward daily, managing small teams by coordinating priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Provide valued subject-matter insight to become a trusted contributor for clients and colleagues. This role requires at least five to eight years of financial services experience and involves travel. All colleagues are expected to be onsite at least three days per week, with teams gathering on designated anchor days.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 -8 years of relevant Financial Services experience
- In-depth knowledge of the sector, either gained through experience in the industry or in other consultancy houses
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills and ability to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
- Aptitude for analytical work, like sniffing out clues in massive data sets or hunting down the key issues in a hugely complex challenge
- Willingness to travel
- All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organisation) or with industry experience from a strategy department or inhouse consulting
