Oko West Project- Site Services Sewage Tank Operator

Job Summary
Drive and manage specialized vacuum trucks to pump, haul, and empty wastewater, sewage, and sludge from residential, commercial, or industrial tanks at the Oko West Project site. Safely run equipment to extract liquid waste, check for leaks or blockages, and haul materials to authorized disposal facilities while ensuring all waste is handled at approved sites. Perform daily service and cleaning of portable toilet units, connect and store heavy suction hoses, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks. Maintain and verify spill kits are stocked, log mileage and receipts, and perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting as needed. Be available for on-call or emergency septic services. Work in tropical outdoor conditions, including confined spaces, with a 14 days on/7 days off schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of general driving or commercial truck operation experience
- Physically fit for the demands of the role including hose handling and outdoor work in tropical conditions
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Clean driving record with no major incidents involving hazardous materials
- Good communication skills for coordination by radio with supervisors and field team
- Ability to work in confined spaces, such as septic tanks
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable with standing, walking, kneeling, and bending for extended periods
- Ability to work in various outdoor conditions including heat, dry, dusty, inclement weather and confined spaces
- Position based at the OKO Project site
- Work Schedule – 14 days on/7days Off
