Oko West - Mechanical Material Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of mechanical equipment, materials, and spare parts to support construction and commissioning activities at the Oko West Mine Site. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records to ensure timely availability and traceability, while liaising with procurement, warehouse, and construction teams to expedite deliveries and resolve discrepancies. Verify that all materials comply with technical specifications and purchase orders, maintaining complete documentation and material tracking records. This temporary contract role involves a rotation schedule of 23 work days followed by 19 days off.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and/or relevant experience in the construction mining industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical material coordination, warehousing, or logistics for gold mining construction projects
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and materials
- Proficiency with inventory management and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and material specifications
