Job Summary
The Site Medic at the Oko West Project is responsible for providing immediate medical care and emergency response, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include stabilizing patients during emergencies, conducting health screenings, managing medical facilities and supplies, and participating in safety drills and training. The ideal candidate will have qualifications as an EMT or RN, relevant certifications, and experience in similar environments. The position offers a permanent, full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Registered Nurse (RN), or equivalent medical qualification
- Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in emergency response
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Ability to work in remote locations and on rotational shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, mining, oil & gas, or remote environments
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit for emergencies in challenging terrain
