Job Summary
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be integral to the electrical installation and commissioning of utility-scale solar and wind energy systems. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical system equipment, ensuring compliance with design drawings, electrical codes, and safety standards. You must hold a state-issued unlimited journeyman electrician license or be willing to obtain one. This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics.
Required Qualifications
- Oklahoma State Licensed Electrician or equivalent combination of education and experience with willingness to obtain journeyman license prior to start
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen
- Willingness to travel and relocate to the job site
- Must be able to work consistently outside, frequently in inclement weather
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working on renewable energy projects or large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Forklift, skid steer, mini excavator, trencher, and/or manlift experience
