Conduct 24-hour ED call coverage shifts managing 2-3 patients per shift, including low and high-risk pregnancy care, C-section decision-making, and breech or multiple birth deliveries. Perform OB ultrasounds and office gynecology procedures such as IUD placement and cystoscopy. Submit time entry via the online portal while your recruiter handles housing, travel, credentialing, and weekly pay deposits. This assignment requires a locums obstetrics gynecologist at a facility with both an ED and obstetrics department.
Required Qualifications
- Low and high risk pregnancy management
- C-section decision-making and performance
- OB ultrasounds performance and interpretation
- Complicated deliveries including breech and multiple births
