Job Summary
Perform brazing and mechanical/electrical assembly per drawings and SOPs; read blueprints and wiring diagrams; operate equipment to assemble finished goods to quality standards in assigned area; support daily production goals; conduct basic tests (including controls testing and quality verifications) and non-vibration testing as applicable; maintain a safe, organized 5S workspace; follow safety guidelines and wear PPE; utilize SAP/MII/MES data processes; cross-train within the department and assist in training new production team members; contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- 12 months prior manufacturing experience required
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High focus on quality and safety
- Proficient math, reading, and computer skills
- Intermediate skill in reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematic reading
- Intermediate skills in the use of basic, pneumatic, and power tools
- Ability to read measuring devices
- Ability to safely operate equipment (may include material movement equipment such as overhead lifting devices, forklifts)
