Job Summary

Project Specialist responsible for planning and coordinating logistics for OKA+ Institute programs and events, including registration, setup/teardown, catering, vendor coordination, travel arrangements and lodging, budgeting oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with staff, Fellows, and participants. Requires planning, event-management, and administrative skills, including reports, data requests, and use of systems like Banner, Concur, TouchNet, and Qualtrics. Supervises student workers, coordinates tasks, and ensures adherence to SOPs while delivering effective communications and ensuring events stay within budget. Education requirement includes a university degree or equivalent experience and strong writing/organizational abilities.

Required Qualifications

  • university degree or equivalent work experience
  • experience with leading planning, including program development and innovation, program prioritization, and assessment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • two years of office and project management experience
  • basic accounting, budgeting, and financial monitoring
  • knowledge and experience with Banner and project management skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • excellent writing and communication skills
  • general knowledge of public K-12 schools in Oklahoma
