Job Summary
Operate a commercial motor vehicle between Oklahoma City and Denver, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and documenting checks via DVIR. Report unsafe situations, service interruptions, or incidents to management immediately and follow USPS and company route assignments. Complete end-of-day documentation, attend scheduled training, and handle local work around OKC between trips. Manage a 12.5-hour duty cycle with 1.5 to 2 full trips weekly, adhering to all DOT, OSHA, and Louis V. Lepak Trucking Company rules. Maintain a Class A CDL, hold a valid background check, and possess at least one year of CMV experience.
Required Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Hold a current valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Must be atleast 24 years of age
- Able to complete and maintain a background check to have access to United States Mail
- No DUI in the last 5 years
- One (1) year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Must take break(s) as HOS requires
- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 70 pounds frequently
- Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 70 lbs
