Job Summary
PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides patient-centered care under supervision across age ranges (neonatal to geriatric). Responsibilities include participating in initial assessments, documenting care through progress notes, administering modalities and exercise regimes per department policies, maintaining patient records and documentation of charges, promoting education within the department, and collaborating with the inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor. Requires graduation from an accredited OTA program, eligible or current state licensure as a COTA, and current BLS certification; one year experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Current license for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligible for licensure in state of practice
- BLS certification current before assigned to care for patients independently
