Job Summary
Join ChampionX as an Oilfield Chemical Sales Representative, responsible for collaborating with Sales Representatives to implement service plans and assist in transitioning accounts. This role involves maintaining and calibrating chemical feed and process monitoring equipment, providing technical support, solving problems through data analysis, and achieving annual sales targets through strategic engagement with customers. Candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma and relevant experience in technical sales, with preferred qualifications including a bachelor's degree and increased experience in the field.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years' experience of upstream production chemical experience in a successful technical sales or field sales support position
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
- 3+ years' experience of upstream production chemical experience in a successful technical sales or field sales support position
- Prior experience in the oil and gas industry
- High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)
- History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
- Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills
- Mechanically Inclined
