Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the oil change center by scheduling staff, managing inventory, and ensuring OSHA compliance. Direct a team of technicians through performance evaluations, coaching, and certification training while resolving customer concerns and recommending services based on manufacturer guidelines. Perform opening and closing duties, maintain equipment, and oversee payroll budgeting to meet departmental goals. Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, navigating moving vehicles safely while wearing required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in Oil/Lube Center management or a similar automotive leadership role
- Proven customer service and team management skills
- Familiarity with basic business operations and management competencies
- Ability to lead by example and hold teams accountable to high-performance standards
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must navigate around moving vehicles safely and maintain situational awareness at all times
- Regular physical activity including bending, reaching, stooping, and stepping in/out of vehicles
- Required to wear PPE including protective gear, safety goggles, gloves, bump cap, etc., as per safety guidelines
