Job Summary
Conduct safe and efficient delivery of heating oil and propane to residential and commercial customers while operating assigned trucks. Perform daily vehicle inspections, log mileage and inventory records, and maintain accurate delivery logs. Ensure compliance with all DOT, state, and federal safety regulations. Be proactive in identifying maintenance needs and keeping the vehicle in optimal condition. Provide excellent customer service and work independently in all weather conditions. Requires valid CDL, hazmat certification, and TWIC card.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL driver's license
- Valid hazmat certification
- Valid TWIC card
- Must be able to pull a 75-90lbs hose up to 175 feet for deliveries
- Must be able to lift and pull parts and equipment
- Must be able to climb in and out of the truck
- Must be able to climb over fences or walls during deliveries
- Must be able to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting
- Must be able to regularly talk and hear
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work 100% field work
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in residential oil/ propane delivery or similar fuel delivery roles
