Job Summary
Oil Processing Technician at Cliff Berry, Inc. in Miami: responsible for processing and treating incoming oil products, monitoring tank levels, heating cooker tanks, performing sampling and bench-scale testing, transferring products between tanks, and conducting quality control/quality assurance checks. Performs routine equipment maintenance on the Gencor thermal heater, maintains logs and records of finished product volumes, and ensures safety and compliance with applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of petro-chemical engineering
- Mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, thermal fluid heaters, fluid transfer, piping, pumps and pumping systems
- Skilled in operating hydraulic systems, piping, pumps and pumping systems
- Read, understand, and apply technical manuals, complex analytical methods, and research reports
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public
- Safety procedures and application of safety principles to fuels handling, use of equipment, facility maintenance, and use of PPE
