Job Summary
Apply lubricants to moving engine parts, replace cabin and fuel filters, and perform engine cleaning to prevent rust. Lubricate wheel bearings, chassis grease fittings, and check fluid levels while following manufacturer recommendations. Create ROs to bill parts and labor, identify mechanical defects, and drive equipment in and out of bays. Maintain a tidy work space, adhere to safety practices, and provide excellent customer service. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 100lbs. Work a 3 or 4-day week with weekends available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a strong work history
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100lbs
- Must be able to push and pull 50lbs
- Steel toed footwear
- Safety glasses
- Must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry
- Basic knowledge of computer's and computer software
