Job Summary
Deliver distillates, propane, and gasoline safely while performing pre-trip inspections, cleaning, and paperwork for DOT and FMCSA compliance. Assist with meter reading, tank setting, and off-season fleet maintenance during slower periods. Maintain daily communication with the Distribution Manager and provide customer service for delivery issues. Work flexible schedules including weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts. Requires a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and air brake endorsements, three years of delivery experience, and proficiency in Android tablets.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B, with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- Valid DOT medical certificate
- Ability to drive a standard-shift transmission
- Ability to pass company-provided drug test, alcohol test, and physical
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on call shifts
- Experience with regulatory agency requirements (e.g. DOT, HazMat, OSHA, FMCSA)
- Licensing and certifications as applicable (e.g. CETP delivery modules for propane)
- Proficient in the use of Android tablets and web-based software applications
- Hearing and vision must meet standards for Commercial Driver's licensing
- Ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to bend
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to kneel, squat, climb, stand, walk, sit, reach, drive, perform repetitive motions, and exercise fine motor skills
Desired Qualifications
- Three or more years of petroleum or propane delivery experience preferred
