Job Summary
Conduct oil and fluid changes, check tire pressure, and perform specialized services like transmission and radiator work on customer vehicles. Maintain a clean work area, input maintenance data into the computer, and accept payment. Provide prompt, courteous service by answering questions and recommending additional services. Rotate through all duties including Upper Bay, Lower Bay, greeter, and cashier roles under daily assignments from the Manager. Requires a driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to reach overhead and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to read and write English
- The employee must be able to reach four feet in height overhead
- Some bending, stretching, and walking up/down the stairs will be used constantly
- The employee must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Mobility is required
- Must be able to operate overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns
- Must be able to operate differential pump
- Must be able to operate transmission fluid exchange machine
- Must be able to operate calculator
- Must be able to work in a garage environment 100% of the time
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces, and hot-cold temperatures
- Must be able to maintain a clean work area (including grounds, restrooms, customer area, etc.)
- Must be able to perform related duties as assigned
- Must be able to rotate through all Lube Technician duties (Upper Bay and Lower Bay, Greeter and Cashier)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience is helpful but not required
