Job Summary
Check and change car fluids and filters, monitor tire pressure, and perform specialized services on transmission, differential, and radiator systems. Observe safety rules, maintain a clean work area, and input maintenance data into the computer while providing prompt, courteous customer service. Accept payment, explain services, and recommend additional work. Rotate through all duties including Upper and Lower Bay, Greeter, and Cashier roles. Requires a driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to reach overhead; training provided for entry-level candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to read and write English
- successfully complete the Lube Technician training course
- The employee must be able to reach four feet in height overhead
- Some bending, stretching, and walking up/down the stairs will be used constantly
- The employee must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Mobility is required
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be able to work in a garage environment 100% of the time
- Exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces, and hot-cold temperatures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience is helpful but not required
