Job Summary
Check and change car fluids and filters, monitor tire pressure, and perform specialized services like transmission and radiator work. Work as a team to ensure procedures are complete while observing safety rules and maintaining a clean work area. Note customer and maintenance information into the computer, explain services provided, accept payment, and answer customer questions. Rotate through all duties including Upper Bay, Lower Bay, Greeter, and Cashier roles under daily assignments from the Manager. This entry-level position offers full-time employment with training provided for those passionate about cars and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to read and write English
- successfully complete the Lube Technician training course
- The employee must be able to reach four feet in height overhead
- Some bending, stretching, and walking up/down the stairs will be used constantly
- The employee must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Mobility is required
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be able to work in a garage environment 100% of the time
- Exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces, and hot-cold temperatures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience is helpful but not required
