Job Summary
Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change leads recruiting, onboarding, and training for crew; creates crew schedules and submits payroll; controls inventory including End of Period and End of Year processes; places product orders and restocks inventory; understands shop financials to drive results and manage budget; conducts quarterly employee evaluations; supports crew with oil changes and related auto services; delivers excellent customer service; offers paid training and opportunities for career advancement (Assistant Manager or Manager-in-Training) with pay up to $55k+ per year, full-time benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills
