Job Summary
Shop Manager role at Take 5 Oil Change (Alvin, TX). Lead shop operations, recruit, interview, onboard and train crew members; create crew schedules and submit payroll; control inventory; review End of Period/End of Year processes; place product orders and restock; understand the shop’s financials to drive results; conduct quarterly employee evaluations; support team with oil changes and light auto services; deliver excellent customer service; PAID TRAINING provided; potential to advance to Assistant Manager or Manager-in-Training; requires lifting, pit work, exposure to hot/cold weather, and willingness to work early hours up to ~55 hours/week; benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k) match; location: 1480 E Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself under cars
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills
