Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change. Lead shop operations, provide excellent customer service, process payments, run the floor, and assist with opening/closing procedures. Paid training provided to learn the Take 5 way to manage a shop location, perform oil changes, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill tires, and conduct light maintenance. Opportunities for rapid advancement into Take 5 leadership roles; earning potential via base pay plus weekly bonuses. Emphasizes team leadership, training new employees, inventory control, and maintaining shop cleanliness. Compensation includes base pay of $15.00-$18.00/hour, paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) with company match. Location: 6440 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77091, United States.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
