Job Summary
Coordinate daily shop operations as Manager on Duty, ensuring workflow efficiency, safety compliance, and accurate service completion. Lead team development by coaching new technicians, providing real-time feedback, and reinforcing service standards. Complete certified technician training, manage inventory adjustments, and handle opening and closing procedures while resolving customer concerns professionally. Assist the Shop Manager with reporting, operational follow-up, and additional leadership responsibilities during their absence. Perform all hands-on duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and maneuvering in a shallow pit. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment
- Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices
- Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members
- Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities
- The ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods
- The ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required
- Reliable transportation to and from your work location
- Lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Maneuver safely in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position yourself under vehicles
- Walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, hold, grasp, pull, and turn for extended periods of time
- Work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary
