Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change oversees customer service and payments, runs the floor to ensure staff are in position and customers are satisfied, handles opening/closing procedures, assists with counting and adjusting inventory, trains new employees, and performs oil-change related tasks (drain oil, change oil filters, replace air filters, wiper blades, tires, etc.). Paid training is provided, with opportunities for rapid advancement; base pay is $15.00–$18.00 per hour plus weekly bonuses and benefits including paid time off, health/vision/dental insurance, and 401(k) with company match.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
