Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change in Odessa, TX. Provide excellent customer service; process payments; run the floor; assist with inventory; train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way; open/close shop; perform oil changes and light maintenance (drain oil, change filters, replace wiper blades/air filters, top up tires); manage shop operations in the Shop Manager’s absence; participate in paid training; opportunities for fast advancement; base pay $15.00–$18.00/hour with weekly bonuses; full-time benefits include PTO, health/vision/dental, 401(k) match, industry-paid training, and potential bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
