Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change: provide excellent customer service and process payment for services; assume the Shop Manager’s responsibilities in their absence; manage floor operations, ensure team members are where they need to be, and verify each vehicle is serviced to Take 5 standards; assist with opening/closing procedures; train new employees; perform oil changes and related maintenance (oil, filters, fluids, tires); maintain inventory and shop cleanliness; opportunities for rapid advancement with a paid training program and potential bonuses; benefits include health/vision/dental, 401(k), paid time off, and a bonus/incentive structure.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
