Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services performed while assuming the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in their absence. Run the floor by ensuring employees are positioned correctly, verifying vehicle checks, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction before they leave. Execute opening and closing procedures, assist with counting and adjusting inventory, and train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way. Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary while restocking and maintaining inventory levels on the floor. Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness. This role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, maneuver in a 3' deep pit, and work in hot or cold conditions. Full-time employees receive up to $15.00 - $18.00/hour with weekly bonuses, paid time off, and health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
