Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change leads shop operations and delivers customer service excellence. Responsibilities include providing customer service, processing payments, running the floor, performing opening/closing procedures, assisting with inventory counts and adjustments, training new employees, draining motor oil and performing oil changes and other light auto maintenance, and maintaining shop and bathroom cleanliness. The role offers PAID TRAINING, opportunities for rapid advancement, a base pay range of $15-$18/hour with weekly bonuses, benefits (health, vision, dental), 401(k) match, and access to early wage withdrawal through myFlexPay. Prior experience is valued but not required. Full-time position with potential for growth within the Take 5 leadership path.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
