Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change: provide excellent customer service and process payments for services performed; assume the Shop Manager’s responsibilities in their absence; run the floor to ensure staff are where they need to be and customers are satisfied; perform opening/closing procedures; assist with inventory counting and adjustments; train new employees; perform oil changes, oil-filter changes, and other light maintenance; restock and maintain inventory; maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness; paid training and opportunities for advancement; competitive base pay with weekly bonuses; benefits include health, dental, and 401(k) with company match.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
