Job Summary
Conduct daily shop operations by stepping in as Manager on Duty to coordinate workflow and ensure safe, efficient service delivery. Complete Certified Technician training while performing all Lead Technician responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures and inventory adjustments. Train new team members through real-time coaching, reinforce service standards and safety protocols, and support shop performance by identifying improvement opportunities. Model fast, friendly customer service to resolve concerns professionally and maintain high-quality service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment
- Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices
- Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members
- Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities
- The ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods
- The ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required
- Reliable transportation to and from your work location
- Lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Maneuver safely in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position yourself under vehicles
- Walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, hold, grasp, pull, and turn for extended periods of time
- Work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary
