Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change in Garland, TX. Provides customer service, processes payments, and leads shop floor operations in the manager’s absence. Highlights include PAID TRAINING, opportunities for fast advancement, and a path from Crew Member to Shop Manager. Salary range $15.00-$18.00 per hour with weekly bonuses; full benefits (Health, Vision, Dental), 401(k) match, and paid time off. Responsibilities include running the floor, ensuring vehicle service quality, opening/closing procedures, inventory handling, training new employees, draining oil and performing other auto services as needed, maintaining shop cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- PAID TRAINING available to learn the Take 5 way to manage a shop location, change oil, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill air in tires, and perform other light maintenance services
