Job Summary
Assistant Shop Manager at Take 5 Oil Change (Shop#10) in Boutte, LA. Oversees customer service delivery and daily shop operations, including processing payments, running the sales floor, and performing opening/closing procedures. Leads and trains team members, mentors potential future Shop Managers, and ensures customer satisfaction. Responsible for oil changes and light auto-maintenance tasks (drain oil, change oil filters, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill tires), inventory management, and maintaining shop and facility cleanliness. Paid training provided with base pay between $15.00 and $18.00 per hour plus weekly bonuses; benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, and 401(k) with company match; opportunities for advancement; access to Earned Wages via myFlexPay.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
