Job Summary
Yard Technician role responsible for maintaining a clean, organized equipment yard, coordinating tool and equipment deliveries, inspecting and organizing inventory, performing routine maintenance on generators, compressors, and pumps, arranging external repairs, tracking equipment usage, and preparing vehicles for deployment. Requires strong communication and customer-service skills, basic computer proficiency for inventory and dispatch tools, and the ability to work independently in an on-site, outdoor environment at the Triadelphia/Moundsville WV yard.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or trade school equivalent
- 2+ years of experience managing equipment, tools, and yard operations
- Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record
- Forklift and loader experience preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (inventory tracking, dispatch tools, spreadsheets)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with equipment repairs
- Ability to work independently and respond to urgent needs as required
