Oil and Gas Service Supervisor

Job Summary
Maintain a safe working environment by investigating accidents, coordinating labor needs, and managing technicians to ensure safe, efficient repairs and preps. Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve problems, prepare repair estimates, and review jobs while handling a high volume of calls to optimize satisfaction. Manage work-in-progress, oversee technician performance against key performance indicators, and assign work to ensure repairs are complete, on time, and on budget. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and maintain control of company property. Requires two years of maintenance experience in oil and gas, familiarity with Caterpillar service platforms, and the ability to stand for eight hours with travel flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree or equivalent experience and training
- At least 2 years' maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry
- Mechanical experience with large bore diesel and natural gas engines
- Must possess a clean driving record and be able to meet company insurability guidelines
- Requires the ability to stand up to eight hours per day and includes twisting, bending, squatting, sitting stooping and kneeling
- Flexibility to travel and visit our customers will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Caterpillar service platforms (SIS and DBS preferred)
- Prior supervisory experience or Service Management Training preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, make informed decisions, and lead under pressure
- Passion for delivering technical excellence and service leadership
- Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, and other Windows based programs
- Experience working at a Caterpillar (CAT) dealership or with CAT products is ideal
