Oil and Gas Operator (Summer Student)

Job Summary
Support day-to-day operations at an oil blending facility under the direction of experienced operators; monitor blending processes, equipment, and product quality; perform routine equipment checks, gauge readings, and basic product sampling; assist with product transfer/handling; record operational data and complete shift logs; adhere to site safety procedures and SOPs; participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training; requires being in a full-time summer term, with enrollment in post-secondary studies and return to fall 2026; ideal for students pursuing trades or technical fields such as fourth-class power engineering; valid driver’s license and safety certifications (H2S Alive, First Aid) are assets; physical outdoor work in an industrial environment.
Required Qualifications
- Returning to post-secondary studies in fall 2026
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
