Job Summary
Conduct daily upkeep and facilities maintenance projects at OHSU operations in Portland, OR, performing cleaning tasks, trash removal, spill cleanup, and restroom sanitation as directed by the facility manager. Operate commercial cleaning equipment, shovel snow from ramps, and maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies while keeping a daily service sheet. Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and policy violations to supervisors, and assist customers within the facility. This independent, self-starting role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to OSHA regulations. Schedule runs Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's license in good standing to pass MVR check
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education
- May require facility maintenance, electrical and or painting experience and or skills training depending on the job assignment and facility
- Availability to work 3rd shift and/or week-ends
