OHSU Clinical APP Associate / APP - Outpatient/Ambulatory (Located in Eugene, OR)

Job Summary

Manage pediatric gastroenterology patients in outpatient ambulatory settings, including comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatment plan development, diagnostic test interpretation, and medication management. Handle independent and shared billing while overseeing EPIC in-basket management, MyChart messages, chart closure, and non-RVU patient care coordination. Participate in departmental scheduling, call responsibilities, and care conferences to maintain safe, consistent clinical operations. Support clinical, education, and research missions by working with students, trainees, and patients in research consistent with scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Master Degree in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing in the specialty of Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG ACNP) from an accredited program, a recognized APRN specialty (Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, or Nurse Practitioner)
  • Successful completion of a Master Degree in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies from an accredited program
  • Prior experience in Pediatrics
  • Ability to manage heavy workload with multiple priorities and inflexible deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in the use of computing hardware and software, including personal computing equipment, electronic medical record, word processing
  • Regular and consistent attendance at work
  • Current RN and APRN NP licensure with the Oregon Board of Nursing
  • Current national ANCC Certification in the area of specialization
  • Current BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification as indicated for the position
  • DEA Certification
  • Current PA licensure with the Oregon Medical Board
  • Current NCCPA Certification
  • Current BLS, ACLS or PALS Certification
  • DEA Certification
