Job Summary
Experienced OHS Inspector needed for a significant power and energy project based in Hyderabad, Pakistan. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring occupational health and safety requirements, conducting routine site inspections, ensuring contractor compliance with HSE plans and permit-to-work, verifying PPE usage, following up on corrective actions, assisting in incident investigations, maintaining HSE records and documentation, and liaising with site teams to improve safety performance. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in safety inspection and monitoring; prior consultancy experience and strong communication skills are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering/environmental sciences or similar field)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety inspection and monitoring
- Experience working on power, energy, transmission, or distribution infrastructure projects
- Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, and incident investigations
- Good communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
