Job Summary
Provide in-home Shared Living care for adults with developmental disabilities in Ohio. You will offer a private furnished bedroom and shared living spaces, assist with daily living tasks (personal care, cooking, cleaning), schedule medical appointments, organize social activities, and maintain records of care. The role involves caring for a person in your home, coordinating transportation, and following through with training and certification provided by ViaQuest. A tax-free stipend ($35,000–$60,000 per year) is provided, along with PTO and additional compensation for multiple care recipients. Ideal candidates have strong communication, problem-solving, and caregiving skills, a clean background, driving ability with an insured vehicle, and a willingness to report via easy tools and work with a dedicated manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean background check
- Insured vehicle with good driving record
- Ability to live in Ohio and provide in-home care
- Provide private bedroom and shared living spaces
- Ability to assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning
- Schedule medical appointments and organize social activities
- Keep records of work and unusual events
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
