Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including LVADs and pacemaker insertions, alongside morning cath lab rounds and afternoon clinic visits. Manage 35 inpatient census and 3-4 daily clinic patients while performing EKGs, Holter monitors, and stress tests. Requires nuclear cardiac imaging interpretation skills. Schedule involves 1-2 weeks per month with a 6-month commitment, featuring vacation coverage and weekly deposit of negotiated pay. Comprehensive malpractice coverage and complimentary housing and travel are provided.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 2 weeks per month with a 6-month commitment
- Must be able to read nuclear cardiac imaging
- Procedures: diagnostic and interventional cardiology, LVADs, radial access
- Skills required: EKGs, Holter monitors, echo, all stress test modalities
