Job Summary
Operate envelope production machines in a climate-controlled Walbridge factory, ensuring product quality per guidelines and meeting job specifications. Inspect envelopes with rulers, monitor machine speeds as set by the adjuster/supervisor, load/unload materials and finished products, count/record daily production units, and maintain proper adhesive/paper levels. Maintain a continuous production cycle, perform material handling with hand trucks, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience operating a machine in a production/manufacturing facility
- Proven experience operating fast-moving machines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Strong ruler reading skills
- Manual dexterity
- Team player
