Job Summary
Review, revise, negotiate, and execute the firm's vendor contracts in a timely manner, ensuring they address legal, risk management, privacy, and security concerns while maintaining policy consistency. Consult with vendor relationship owners and stakeholders to determine negotiation strategy, including direct negotiation when strategically appropriate. Participate in firm-wide training initiatives to introduce the contract review process and develop strong relationships with staff and senior leaders to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with the Office of the General Counsel on risk management projects and protect all sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information. This role is located in New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, or Downtown Los Angeles and requires a J.D. degree and active bar membership in one of those jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications
- A J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- An active bar membership in California, Illinois, New York, or Washington, D.C., or the ability to apply for membership in 90 days and become an active member within one (1) year of hire
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience practicing law, including contract drafting and negotiation
