OGC Analyst - Conflicts

Job Summary
Prepare and analyze standard conflicts reports for incoming attorneys and new client business, including advisory, NDAs, and transactional checks. Communicate conflict check results, validate requirements, and update data in conflicts databases using internal and external resources. Conduct corporate entity research via electronic databases and the Internet to confirm accuracy, then analyze and reply to attorneys regarding potential or actual conflicts. Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information. This role supports Latham's Office of the General Counsel team across Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago, or Washington D.C.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated work experience involving professional interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and the ability to work independently
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience with Intapp Open software
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrate an advanced ability to perceive and analyze problems, and develop alternative strategies to solve them
- Possess well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interface with attorneys, management, support staff, and outside contacts
- Demonstrate the organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent; a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated work experience involving professional interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and the ability to work independently
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm, preferably
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience with Intapp Open software, preferably
