Offsider

Drilling Offsider role at Ventia supporting rig operations on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster with return flights from Adelaide to Roxby Downs. Responsibilities include assisting rig operations (machinery handling, rig moves, equipment setup), safely operating machinery and vehicles, conducting prestart checks, transporting equipment, loading/unloading trucks with correct weight distribution, securing loads, operating forklifts, and supporting equipment maintenance (e.g., sharpening drill bits). Must hold a current HR driver’s licence (essential), with additional tickets such as First Aid, Forklift, Front End Loader, WAH, and Cert II in Drilling Operations highly regarded. Emphasis on safety, PPE, toolbox talks, and adherence to safety protocols. Pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol testing, police checks, references) are required. Accommodation and meals provided on shift; return flights provided; roster-based schedule with potential additional days as needed.
