Job Summary
Rig slings, shackles, and lifting equipment for moving materials, pipes, and structures on offshore vessels, platforms, and fabrication yards. Coordinate crane and cherry picker operations by hooking up cables and guiding crew through safety procedures. Assist welders and fitters with grinding, buffing, and fitting measurements while reporting defective rigging gear immediately. Set up skids, rails, and water pumps for load-outs and offloading networks from barges. Perform routine maintenance on cranes and cherry pickers, and provide hand signals during lift operations in outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Offshore Rigger Experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Valid TWIC card
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50-75 pounds
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred
